I've heard mixed opinions about this film: some describe it as rather mediocre, while others even use enthusiastic tones; although I initially dismissed it, now I think I will have to go see it... we'll see.

I went there in 2004 just because it was the only Italian stop for the Pixies (who put on a SPECTACULAR concert), then there was PJ Harvey, that clown Ben Harper, and the Cure (who gave a crappy performance). For the 2005 edition, I would have only liked to see Billy Idol; the rest seemed like a mess. Anyway, it’s just a ridiculous festival.

The film features puppets that walk, run, and duel in a disjointed and unrealistic manner, just like the traditional string puppets from theatrical tradition, and indeed they are traditional puppets! I recommend you get the DVD, which includes a comprehensive making of about the production phases.

a review that is nothing short of incomprehensible for a nice but nothing more film (short film), based solely on the typical "twist" ending (which by the way you thought it wise to reveal, ruining the surprise for the 2 or 3 people who still haven't seen it)

I completely disagree; for me, this is a true masterpiece that lacks nothing: sex in abundance, drugs like it’s raining, and scorn/mockery of the cops (the crows – Black Panthers – are fantastic). What more could you ask for from a cartoon from the '70s?

What the hell kind of place is Korea?! Private prisons, organ transplant mafia, massacred children... anyway, imho the film is the best of the trilogy, packed as it is with grotesque violence and visual inventions (like the hammer scene, something more than a classic side-scrolling shot, practically a "side-scrolling-fighter"), a total combination of images and sounds that is absolutely spectacular.
