Of reggae-metal, I know Skindred, a rather unremarkable English band; and there are also Dread Zeppelin, who specialize in reggae covers of Zeppelin songs. Speaking of Primus: they have officially never disbanded, and in recent years they have even played a few concerts (not many) in the US and Japan; for a while now, there have also been rumors that they are set to record a new album Primus' seventh studio album - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

@supersoul: ah, okay, I get it... then we should also mention Body Count and Stuck Mojo!

And don't you think the Sublime are badass?

Ah dear Doctor, the Sublime were a fantastic band (one of my favorites, in fact the self-titled was my first review here on Deb), even though unfortunately today not many remember them (here in Italy, abroad it's another story). And yes, the songs I mentioned obviously come from Judgment Night (that one was reviewed too!). "Clean sounds and cloying melodies"? Please... their first two albums were recorded in a semi-amateurish way (self-productions in full do-it-yourself spirit), while the third one (the one on a major label) was produced by the god Paul Leary of the Butthole Surfers, who is certainly not known for using "clean sounds."

stiffed singer since '95, just finished their most "important" album... sure, they lean more towards reggae/ska punk with a strong hip hop and dub component, but it's still crossover.

I’ve had it for a short time and I still need to listen to it properly, but right now they don’t seem that far off from the Kyuss clone scene... anyway, the band's name and the album title are fantastic!

The Urban Dance Squad released a couple of decent tracks, but nothing more (I even saw them live at a Dutch festival in... I don't know, '98?), the comparison with the Rage doesn't even come into play. The historical origins of crossover can be traced back to Fishbone, Bad Brains, and RHCP, but also to Living Colour, FNM, and the Beastie Boys. In the realm of "90s crossover collaborations," Helmet+House Of Pain, Teenage Fanclub+De La Soul, and Mudhoney+Sir Mix-A-Lot are the clear winners. But doesn’t anyone know Sublime?

Bad Religion live are always a guarantee, absolutely great. One of the very few hardcore bands I still listen to.
M. Night Shyamalan E venne il giorno
Voto:
The only film of Shyamalan that I liked was The Sixth Sense; all his other movies seem like colossal nonsense to me (Signs and Unbreakable are the absolute worst, bordering on ridiculous). This one has an intriguing story, but I've heard really terrible things about it: and considering that he hasn't made a good movie since 1999, I really don't think I'll go see it in the theater.
