John McNaughton (Monty Python) E Ora Qualcosa Di Completamente Diverso
Voto:
The Monty Python are the undisputed geniuses of comedy; for me, it’s hard to think of anything funnier than one of their films. All of their movies are a solid 5, except for "The Meaning of Life" and "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," which are a 5+.

I didn't mean to downplay Entertainment!, which is certainly a great album. However, I've always appreciated this one more; it features some of their most beautiful songs like What We All Want, In The Ditch, and To Hell With Poverty (bonus track of the remastered version of the album), and I find it more varied and better produced. Maybe the other one is more "historically" significant and innovative, but I still prefer this one.

Regarding the album: unknown and underrated? Dear anti-communist, but if only in America, at the time of its release, it sold nearly a million copies! It also achieved excellent chart placements worldwide (#2 in the USA and #4 in the UK) and became double platinum. Just like what happens with unknown and underrated albums.

With the name you've chosen, it's mandatory to get into politics. I'll start: I would have appreciated it more if you had adopted a nickname like "Antifascista" or "Piazzale_Loreto_4ever," wouldn't that have been better? But you are "a salon anti-communist" like Fini-Berlusconi, or one of those more "committed" types like the Pope and Pinochet?

the true masterpiece of the Gang Of Four

I really enjoyed it; it had been since "Monsters, Inc." that Pixar hadn't made anything truly worthwhile. I mean, Finding Nemo and The Incredibles were nice and technically well-crafted, but they were missing something (a script worthy of the name?) that this one has.
Tommy Lee Jones Le Tre Sepolture
Voto:
a beautiful example of a modern western with plenty of social criticism. The apparent slowness is functional to the stylistic approach chosen by the director: Tommy Lee decides not to use the beautiful desert landscape of the frontier as just a simple backdrop, but as a true protagonist, gifting us glimpses of sublime beauty. A western without adventure, which is a bitter reflection on the themes of justice and friendship.
Dinosaur Jr. Bug

it's not my favorite (for me, the best are undoubtedly Where You Been and Without a Sound), but you can always enjoy listening to Dinosaur Jr.
