Fun house is nice, but Raw Power is spectacular.

Seen in '99 at the Cpa in Florence, a memorable concert. Great band, but comparing their importance to that of the Clash seems definitely exaggerated to me. If I had to choose the best rhythm section of the last 20 years, I would undoubtedly say that of Primus (Les Claypool + Tim Alexander, unbeatable).

what a movie, a real punch in the gut
Takashi Miike Ichi The Killer

When I first saw it, I was partially disappointed; I expected an absolute masterpiece, instead it seemed to me like a sort of incoherent "comic book" where the infamous violence takes on almost surreal traits. Personally, I appreciated other films by the Master (Audition - Visitor Q - Izo above all) much more, which in my opinion are also far more extreme and disturbing.

disappointment my ass, it was a spectacular concert... nice 'these remixes, even though Year Zero isn't exactly a masterpiece (but it's not as terrible as some say)

I've heard bad things about it, and your review seems to confirm the rumors. Anyway, it's already on the list.

Fred Dekker Robocop 3
Voto:
You may not have noticed, but the first Robocop is much more than just a decent film: it’s one of the movies from the '80s that helped shape the cyberpunk imagination, and it’s also one of the most scathing critiques of the Reagan-era yuppie culture of that time.

I haven't seen this, but if you like the genre, I think the best one is Tenacious D (even better than School of Rock).
