The Flaming Lips In a Priest Driven Ambulance
Voto:
It's the album by FL that I'm most attached to, the one that made me wear out the CD from constant listening ("Shine On Sweet Jesus" and "Unconsciously Screamin'" literally drive me crazy). It's a real shame they’ve now become what they are (which is a kind of funny caricature of what they used to be up until, let's say, Transmissions). Anyway, yes, Donahue plays on it (he's credited as Dingus in the booklet).
Link Wray Rumble! The Best of Link Wray

You're satisfied with little, huh?
Sarcofago I.N.R.I.
Voto:
When a band is called Sarcofago, the album is titled INRI, and it includes songs like "Desecration Of Virgin," giving the number 5 a must-have status.
Portishead Dummy

a classic
Frank Cappello Un Uomo Qualunque
Voto:
I didn't like it at all: it starts off as some kind of psychodrama, then inexplicably shifts towards a comedy with sentimental twists... the director probably intended to give the film a grotesque tone, but the result is simply confusing (and at times even silly); it would be a 1, if it weren't for Slater (who is decent, even if nothing earth-shattering).
Nicolas Roeg A Venezia, un dicembre rosso shocking
Voto:
Great film, the Venetian setting is highly effective in creating a dark and oppressive atmosphere, almost dreamlike.
Rob Reiner Stand By Me - Ricordo di un'estate
Voto:
Beautiful, but Reiner's best remains This is Spinal Tap!
Alberto Cavallone L'uomo, La Donna e La Bestia - Spell (Dolce Mattatoio)
Voto:
Sanjuro, what do you think of the movie La Bestia by Borowczyk? That one is also a rather atypical erotic film...
