Scott Walker Tilt
Voto:
Scott 4 from 1969 remains undeniably the best (for confirmation, read various opinions from renowned artists like Bowie, Almond, and of course Julian Cope, who made it an obsession throughout 1983-84, even creating a compilation for Zoo Rec., which is now hard to find). Truly an eccentric and deeply introspective character, lost in the depression of an overwhelming success (I refer to his previous group, The Walker Brothers, a band that reached nearly the popularity of the Beatles in the mid-60s, complete with hair-tearing teenagers). The great merit of this artist, for me, is his ability to combine decadent and explicitly pessimistic themes with the classic orchestral pop of Frank Sinatra and Burt Bacharach (excuse how I wrote Burt's last name). Finally, his voice anticipates in a flash the unmistakable singing style of the New Wave so dear to the 80s. A tip: make Scott 4 your own, and if you like it, also check out Scott 1. Then we can talk about bland and uninspired records, aside from this one that I still have to listen to.

enea... have you ever thought that the kubric of caz is intentional?.... or does irony not belong to your cultured vocabulary (ooooops at least now you’ll correct thirty mistakes in a sentence of 23 words, excluding commas)

eh... unfortunately, I have to agree with what Odra and ...damn... say. Reviewing films is a very risky step, and although yours was probably an act of love towards a great director, I don't think it succeeded in showing that. sorry

But none of you have ever heard his voice when he acts? It seems like he has a speech impediment, to put it kindly... The only decent movie he starred in is still What's Eating Gilbert Grape... in the others, he’s a bit cringeworthy, come on...
