And the plots structured better for you? Daitain was overrated for me, the best plot was definitely Mazinga, apart from that, I think Jeeg..... Not bad either Gaiken robot magnetico........

Nagai is fond of trilogies or long sagas that can be connected to each other... Just think of the Dantean triptych of Mao, Devilman, and DevilLady, which in turn connects to Amon: The Dark Side of Devilman, and other minor sagas... Not to mention other incredible works by Nagai like Jack Violence or Shutendoji, or the crazy world of Nagai... All of Nagai's various manga are amazing; I also consider Devilman and Jack Violence to be the best... Mazinga and its universe are incredible because thematic elements can be found across the various manga (and I’m not talking about anime), such as the ever-present dualism of demon-god or good-evil, or the constant theme of catastrophe, and the portrayal of a corrupted humanity. Underappreciated for me is the Getter Robo saga, waiting to be rediscovered.
