Unlike the girl on the cover, the one on the left, of course. Her name is Leigh Lezark, from New York, and she’s an acclaimed DJ at a club in Greenwich Village: Miss Shapes. A friend of many stars, including Madonna, she livens up New York nights with her DJ sets and her behavior that’s definitely not that of a barefoot Carmelite. I know all this because two years ago, on a warm April evening, I took her to bed along with Brandon Boyd, the lead singer of Incubus, and we had quite the night together. Not bad, huh?

If The Sounds knew what kind of dispute they had triggered, they would be touched, even seeing Ale and co.'s attachment. The fact remains that, as it has been widely explained, this album has no pretensions other than to entertain for its 35-minute duration, and in this regard, it succeeds brilliantly. Light, fun, with those catchy little tunes that get stuck in your head from the very start and are hard to shake off. ZiaBice, you definitely went a bit too hard on this one (you knew it would be an easy target, right?), especially since your other reviews suggest you have quite different tastes and love other types of sounds. And since we’re in the vanity fair, I have to say that the singer is not a knockout for me!!
