Muse Live @ Datch Forum - Assago 04-12-2006

Basically, the concert in Rome was identical, including the funny little moment of them waiting for the last giant balloon to burst before they started playing again! At the Palalottomatica, they also kicked off with "Take a Bow" and did all the songs you mentioned, but they played "Citizen Erased" and "Muscle Museum," hehe. Great concert, spectacular scenery, and we already knew they were good. Anyway, I really would have liked to see them back in the "Origin of Symmetry" days, not now. Nice review, infected.

I was there, and I enjoyed it, even during the Mastodon, because if you covered your ears, you could understand all the sounds, and they created a capillarian crest of orgasm, just like the record. As for Tool, it’s known they can be a bit pretentious, but they played really well, and I expected Maynard to be even more of a diva considering the stories I had heard (but seriously, you could have taken off that damn mask for a little while). Anyway, I was next to a guy who got kicked out for taking three pictures, how sad!!! P.S.: Forty Six and Two was spine-tingling!

You didn’t mention one thing. Do you know which drummer played with them for a while? None other than Dave Grohl, who had nothing to do for an afternoon and started goofing around with these two crazies. Anyway, it’s true that they’re hilarious.

I was truly amazed by the introverted character of Miles Davis!!! Good old Miles was completely out of his mind, he happily did all the drugs in the world, I can't imagine what it was like to go out with him for an evening, he slept with the world, more than all the women you'll ever kiss in your lifetime, and he even married Betty Davis (what a ...). If Miles Davis was introverted, then I am Odin, the god of war.

The eclectic album begins with "God Is God," which, as previously mentioned, confirms its presence. For the rest, it's not that bad after all.

The reunion, I think you can forget about it. I don't believe it will ever happen. Anyway, this is a really great album, and "Babylon" is one of the best songs by Soulfly. I saw them live in Rimini this summer, and they absolutely crushed it... One last thing: I wouldn't say that "Prophecy" is a sufficient album; for me, that record is legendary because it has the guts to not give fans what they would have expected (the fantastic ghost track with a Balkan vibe after that masterpiece "Wings").

a great review for an album that is the must-have of this year, even more than the new Mars Volta, who would have ever thought!?
