It doesn't have much to do with this, about CDs, but the most beautiful one they've made (and, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful ever) is Psycho Circus.

even though, on the back of the albums, under their images there’s starchild instead of starbearer from the game, spade ace instead of the celestial (but ace of spades sounds better as a name) and man-cat instead of king of beasts

I think it was from 2000, anyway not before '98 (even if the graphics are a bit grotesque for those relatively modern times, but it helps to make the enemies even more grotesque and scary, even though, poor things, at first glance their name and appearance are a bit funny until you reach the difficult parts with few bullets and only melee weapons and they come from all corners and the ceiling). Players ignored it (not everyone was a fan of Kiss or considered "their" game but rather a gimmick with their names to look good), and so due to "poor sales," the programmers agreed to let magazines give it away almost immediately (I think between 6 months and a year after the release), so I got it and...THE STELLAR, THE KING OF BEASTS, THE CELESTIAL, and last but not least...THE DEMON!

Yes, it was a gift a few years ago with GMC or PC Action. Anyway, it's a horror-fantasy shooter set first in streets infested with demons (with metal and psychocircus names like Arachniclown, Stomp, Headless, and various nonsense), and then in a circus (which is where the nightmare child draws power and plans to destroy the world or something like that; the fortune teller didn’t explain very well). Our heroes must find the armors of the avatars (one for each element) (basically the outfits of Kiss with corresponding face paint) and their weapons and slay as many enemies as possible. Did I explain myself well or do you still think I’m just rambling?
