David Bowie Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust

I believe that voting is a personal matter, even if it has been attached to one of the most important records in pop music. Perhaps the 3 is motivated by the fact that, when considered from a purely musical standpoint, we are not faced with a groundbreaking work, since the structure and melodies of the tracks are quite retro. However, I think that Bowie’s voice and certain arrangements are of great quality, in addition to the fact that the true historical value of this album lies in having changed the concept of artist and showman (things that merge together), which unfortunately has not brought positive outcomes in the world of rock.

In my opinion, his best albums to start with are this one, Outside (the best of the more recent ones), Hunky Dory, and Aladdin Sane. Then there are the Berlin albums, which are very challenging but stunning, Low and Heroes, heavily influenced by the presence of Brian Eno.

Oh my gosh, just stop smashing the balls and whining about the dude just because he scored three. What the hell, it’s always this fan club vibe and adolescent idol worship. On the other hand, aside from the score, the review is well done too.
Johann Sebastian Bach Suites Per Liuto

Hey! I thought I heard a version of that piece for classical guitar in the third sample, which I had also sort of transcribed by ear. Was it a posthumous rewrite or were some of these pieces conceived for guitar as well?

I only knew these by name. How beautiful is the sound of the lute paired with Bach's scores. I need to make sure I get them. It's pure love for Bach now.

Isn't Ron Geesin the one who arranged the Atom Heart Mother suite back in the day?

It feels like a best of. If everyone did it this way, pop would be one of my favorite genres.

Hey Fidia, by now as a reviewer you've almost completely moved into the cinephile realm! I'm really struggling to find an answer, but maybe I haven't even understood the question well. Do you mean that something would have changed knowing that it was women who spread the divine word, or would something have changed if women had spread the divine word? Just so you know, I haven't seen the movie...
