"It's like learning to ride a bike without knowing what a wheel is"-----> Just so you know, there were quite a few wheels before the Beatles.

"the Monkeys, good the Ferdinand, good but not omnipotent" -------> Besides starting a blog as suggested by kosmogabri, open your skull and get another brain implanted. I've listened to the album enough by now to say that it’s a gem.

@ Well, she's a pop sensation, no doubt about it, and it must also be confessed that her pop is well above any other kind of pop today, but the cool things about her songs are her voice and sometimes the sounds that weave underneath all those musical elves buzzing around her (by the way, Mike Patton and Robert Wyatt have also been involved). Formally impeccable, sometimes content-wise a bit lacking. And Björk may not be drop-dead gorgeous, but the Björk of the '90s I would have gladly hooked up with, as for me she wasn't without a certain dirty charm-------------------->>> Ingrandisci questa immagine

In fact, I wasn't talking about the album, but about the artist Björk, an "extravagant" artist. But what the hell is so extravagant about her? It's just the image of an extravagant artist she's built around herself, with "extravagant" videos (so she's an extravagant artist) and extravagant sounds. Musical extravagance is primarily defined by the musical notes; everything else comes after.

I used the plural (you're really exaggerating) and I was referring to you, like to caz, as well as to the other individuals mentioned above who contributed, but being more insignificant I don't even remember their names. Furthermore, it’s not nice to go from saying "this review is crap" to personal remarks like "you suck." Of course, in my opinion, this review doesn't suck at all, and such a relentless attack isn't fair. Caz has his own theories because he, like Brian Eno, could be defined as a NON-reviewer.

Oh, but you’re really exaggerating now. Instead of talking about how terrible your reviews are, you could discuss the album. That said, to get back to what ...Caz... had said, Bjork may be eccentric, but I believe that behind her apparent eccentricity, if you dig deep enough, you'll find music lacking in soul, experimental only in form, with standard content. For me, this is not innovation; it's an old discourse that even raises the question of whether the psychedelic Beatles are innovators and experimentalists. When you surround yourself with all the pop and electronic music gurus she has, even my grandfather would end up being experimental and sophisticated in form. I’ll only save her voice, truly unique and beautiful.

"In 24 hours a record can't be absorbed" ----> You know how it is, not everyone is a loser like you who needs months to digest a pop record, which is immediate and reveals flaws or qualities with the first listens.

Enough, stop arguing or I'll call the junkyard, and then it will really be a big problem.
