Masterpiece... even though Led Zeppelin III... is unsurpassable.

The last album by Radiohead is nothing special, but comparing it to this stuff really makes my stomach turn. What cruelty. And what cruelty to propose a discussion about this artist with nothing to say.

""Tomorrow Never Knows"" -----> In fact, I believe it’s written tomorrow never knows. Phenomenal version.

Phenomenal. And the affinities with prog are all there. Third Uncle is furious, it makes me want to smash everything (except of course the stereo).

In my utterly negligible opinion, there is a certain ethical-moral progress in humans, but it is too weak, too slow compared to technological progress, which paradoxically is leading us to ruin. Why? Let’s think about it: what is ethical-moral progress? For me, it is attempting to detach ourselves as much as possible from our condition as animals and from our impulses, and to give meaning to our natural drives. But we also use technology too much like animals; we are unable to renounce pleasure, because utility does not satisfy us. This is why we cannot moderate ourselves, why the United States has fought against the Kyoto Protocol, and why we struggle even with something as simple as recycling. Because we are still animals; we are men, but we have the illusion of being human. We are still too tied to pleasure, to physical satisfaction, to the instinct of survival to renounce the intensive exploitation of any resource for our pleasure. We are animals, there’s no denying it. And ethical-moral progress is too slow compared to scientific progress; if they traveled hand in hand, perhaps something could change. But culturally, there are states that are still far too behind and hold too many resources, which they fail to use properly.

"I love you more than Saputello." ----> Fuck you, you weren't saying that the other night, though...

"Why does an Indie audience exist?" ----> I'm referring to the standardized one you find at certain concerts. A concert of a shitty band like the Klaxons is definitely the right place to find them. Of course, it’s all about personal taste, but frankly, they make me feel sorry.

"The colorful audience, all in tight pants, converse/vans on their feet and improbable fringes"-----> Oh my god. Then they talk about the tackiness of metalheads. When the indie crowd is even more embarrassing.

For me, your reviews on debaser are the best I come across. Whether they're long or short, they are always very enjoyable and clear. Beautiful for Fusillo.
