Fantastic album. Kyuss are cool, QOTSA even more so, and in any case they don’t seem like a continuation of the former and have a significant pop element. This, of course, doesn't sit well with the underground fanatics, who always want it that way.

@ Hugoniot: come on, it's not just about the fact that they talk. The songwriting is STRONGLY influenced by Massimo Volume, it's impossible not to notice. I don’t want to say that they can't be liked, but the enthusiastic tones I've read in several places don’t resonate with me at all, and the music and ideas of the band seem anything but incisive, let alone innovative.
