The choice to put it in apocalypse gives it an even wilder beauty. It's spine-tingling when you hear it in that setting.

You know? I don't like "Whole Lotta Love" and it bores me a bit. But it's not the worst song by Led Zeppelin (just as "Light My Fire" isn't the worst by The Doors; in fact, I think it's one of the best). "Gallows Pole"... I'll just say that Led Zeppelin III is my favorite album by them.

Oh well, of course! You might not like it, for heaven's sake. I hope it's not just to contradict the review that only mentions that.

"light my fire, maybe the worst song by the Doors." And that's true. Better other songs like peace frog... Alright, now you need to go to a Led Zeppelin review and say that whole lotta love and stairway to heaven are their worst songs. Then you'll be my idol.

Of course, you only quoted my provocative comment and not the other points I made earlier. I had no doubts. Mine is a general reference based on the fact that every time someone gives a low rating to "legendary" bands, there are always people who outrageously get offended and raise their voices unnecessarily. This happens in this review and in a thousand others. I understand what you contest to Francis, the way he approached his criticism. Well, re-read what was written in my comment (also about Jim Morrison) and you will discover that my ideas are not that far off. I didn't shoot down anyone; I simply pointed out that I've noticed this trend. Then, I would be more than happy to know which bands and styles (?!) have been influenced by the Doors. Come on, get to work Jimmy!

Oh, well if you want, we can also expand the scope to groups not from the last 10 years...

So... let's say that the review doesn't mention the music at all, instead indulging in a rambling discourse about Jim Morrison. But that's not entirely wrong. Everyone, even the Doors' fans, know well that without Morrison, the Doors wouldn't have sold even ten copies. This band is a striking example of the phenomenon in rock where attitude often prevails over musical context. In fact, musically, the Doors are inferior to all the bands of that period that rose to fame. But Morrison's voice is unique, the lyrics too, and he didn't stir controversy just because he was in puritan America. So Francis is partially right. Then it's incredible to notice how even people of a certain age (definitely over 20) can’t seem to move beyond their idols.

I have a doubt that Marco Poletti has never ejaculated... I'll check in my precious bound biography of Marco Poletti, by Mondadori.
