You convinced me to listen to it; the single has a really strong riff, like Demon Of The Fall.

We who are alternative (but also not), know Bluvertigo and have also listened to Morgan's solo albums (the latest I strongly advise against for narcoleptics) don’t really count; for the general public, however, Morgan made the leap from being Asia Argento's husband to "that guy from X Factor" (I believe that a good 40% of those who watched X Factor - and I'm being optimistic - barely knew him). This makes me rethink his alleged snobbery, but at the same time it unsettles me. Almost as much as the rallying cries pointed out by C'E'."

I listened to the single in advance a few weeks ago, and I didn't find the departure from California punk so evident.
Coldplay Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends

I still don’t feel ready to rate the album, which is certainly unique. Some things have struck me quite a bit, while for others I’m reserving judgment as I await better assimilation. Chinese Sleep Chant is beautiful, and I also endorse Viva La Vida, 42, Death And All His Friends. As for Lovers In Japan, honestly, the pulsating rhythm of the bass and kick drum reminds me more of Where The Streets Have No Name (slowed down) than Pride :)

Among the things that struck me, I remember the complete absence of sunlight.

I thought films like these had been removed from public consciousness. You deserve a 5 for the courage and stubbornness with which you carry out this recovery operation (and recycling, I’d say, since we’re talking about "trash" hihi).

I appreciate the irony when you talk about our "musically cultured" beautiful country, but, in my personal opinion, this didn't seem like the most appropriate occasion for such a statement. Let me explain: that groups like 3DD, Creed (and Alter Bridge), and I would also include Lifehouse, haven't really taken off in Italy doesn't seem like a great loss to me, especially since Italy is always quite keen on not missing out on any pseudo-promises of pseudo-alternative rock; as for me, I listened to "Away From The Sun" some time ago and it left me with nothing... today I only remember "Here Without You," which I find there are even better tracks from the same bands you and I mentioned (I'm thinking of "In Loving Memory" by Alter Bridge or "Everything" by Lifehouse). Then again, it may just be a personal issue that I can't really connect with these post-grunge groups, ever since I had a major letdown with Puddle Of Mudd (Blurry enchanted me back in the day... blessed youth)...

I remember them for Closing Time and Singing In My Sleep, at the beginning of MTV Italia. Did they disappear after this other album?
Embrace This New Day

I join the chorus of those wondering why Embrace's success in Italy is so limited, in my opinion, a link between Oasis and Coldplay (and given the massive success of these two bands, oddly ignored). I really don't understand certain dynamics. At least Out Of Nothing was "advertised" here with Gravity (and back then The Good Will Come Out with Come Back To What You Know), moreover written by Chris Martin, which should have attracted more attention; strange how this album, which contains the best-selling single in the country, and other great tracks (including No Use Crying, also very Coldplay-esque), has gone completely unnoticed here (at least for those like me who don't have Sky). It's hard to understand these record labels or whoever the hell decides what the radios and TVs should play (we're talking about "commercial" bands, so allow me this media controversy :D)...
