Great comeback (yours as well as the Manics'). A notch above the previous album. Impeccable review, except for Jenny Faville (Saville) :) For me, the three best tracks are Doors Closing Slowly, All Is Vanity, and William's Last Words.

I'm not that fond of this game anymore, but I don't have the courage to lower my average :) I used to play it as a kid with my cousin's Commodore64 and always lost like a fool. Years later, I tried again with Mame32, but things didn't change. If I had had better luck, I'd say the game would have been quite fun for its time :)

I confess that if it weren’t for the title, I would have interpreted the work as a crucifix engulfed in the flames of hell. On a purely "visual" level, I like it, despite the detail. What leaves me perplexed (and I connect this to a comment by JDV) is the idea of wanting to provoke shock at all costs with blasphemy. There is nothing more trite. Provoking the outrage of the bigot is like shooting fish in a barrel, and, frankly, pouring one’s a-religiosity onto the symbol of the crucifix (whether it is a work by Marilyn Manson or any photographer) I find cowardly. This is because I take for granted (at least I hope) that none of us truly has it in for a man (let's set aside for a moment whether his nature was truly divine) who was sentenced to death at 33, perfectly innocent. Today, with all the chaos we create around the death penalty, we would be outraged by something like that. Instead, we take the liberty of manifesting our atheism, or whatever it is, with the same contempt as the Roman soldiers who spat in his face. And all this for what? To distance ourselves from the Church? Because it is considered corrupt, because it is the "true" Italian State (with all the ugliness that entails, of course)? Absolutely fair. So let’s rail against the Church as a human institution, let’s boycott the Pope, a sinner like us but with delusions of omnipotence, let’s do anything we deem appropriate to combat the bigotry of those who stupidly place divine trust in men who invest themselves with a power that will never be theirs, but let’s leave this poor Christ alone!

The story of the USBs scattered around the globe reminds me more of the "concept" of the fourth season of Prison Break.

Watch out for the audience: I've never seen so many girls even at a Tokyo Hotel concert!!

Wow. I rate the artwork just by looking at the photo.

Everything you want, but it leaves me a bit perplexed that the subject in question has released 2 albums and has been followed and reviewed live 7 times. In proportion, I would say that it beats Bruce Springsteen or U2 hands down. Considering that the repertoire for now cannot vary much, and that from a scenic point of view it can "offer" even less, is it really necessary to document its stages in an evangelical report style?

Guys, let me spend a few words of admiration for a crucial yet often unmentioned behind-the-scenes person: Ken's tailor, a man of endless patience and an overworked, tireless worker. By providing our hero with an average of 2 outfits per episode, he has accomplished what the entire Japanese textile industry could not. He deserves all our respect...
