To be more exhaustive: at the time, the album was a bit of a disappointment... sounds we’d heard before, worn out and overused... nothing new and nothing particularly exciting except for a couple of tracks... regarding what you said in your review, I disagree on some (many) points, like when you say that the B.G. would be perfect for making sweet and melodic songs... I don’t know... I’ve always found their slow songs quite mediocre and predictable... maybe the color metaphors (kudos) could have been developed a bit better but oh well... anyway, the ratings for the review and the album would have been around 3.5... so I’m making up for it... P.S.: I wanted to make you happy.
