Good review, I can't stand Atreyu. Anyway, they always seemed washed up as a band from the very beginning, so this "commercial turn" doesn’t surprise me much.
P.S. If you like solid but catchy metalcore, check out Still Remains.

For the rest, I agree on everything. Anyway, I can hear a bit of QOTSA in "Saturday Superhouse" as well (very, very similar to "Go With The Flow" in the chorus...)...

They have never excited me, too derivative even for a metalcore band... to define the singer's scream as "piercing" seems a bit much to me... anyway, I listened to "Right Side Of The Bed" quite a few times back in the day, and some say the riff is copied from a song by In Flames. From Autumn To Ashes' Too Bad You're Beautiful, however, gives them three or four tracks against Atreyu.
