Let’s add a few words about Radio GaGa, which cannot truly be dismissed as just any 80s track. First of all, because it is innovative within the Queen repertoire. Then, the lyrics are far from being contemptible and especially in the verse, they cast a nostalgic glance at Taylor’s childhood-adolescence in the 50s lived under the glow of the radio, now supplanted by trash TV. Here, the song is extremely effective in evoking the magic of the "wars of the worlds" experienced solely through a radio broadcast, with the music then exploding in the chorus, a declaration of love for the medium of radio, which Freddie’s voice truly renders epic. One of the best English pop songs of the 80s.

Anything you want, but five is really a bit too casual.

Epochal. The quintessence of the Sones' rock and more.
Fabrizio De André De André In Concerto

For those who have spoken of the alleged mediocrity of Faber's music, or how a foreigner might not appreciate it, I remind you that for David Byrne (who is not Italian) Creuza De Ma was one of the most beautiful albums of the decade, and he held great admiration for De André. Also, it's worth mentioning that Fabrizio has always surrounded himself with talented musicians to help him on that front, to name a few: Mauro Pagani, Fossati, Reverberi, Nicola Piovani.

Beautiful live, recorded during a rather fortunate tour, which offers a quite comprehensive overview of Battisti's production. The highlights: the version of La Cura introduced only by the piano of the great Carlo Guaitoli, the revival of Magic shop and Segnali di vita.
Francesco Guccini Quello che non...
Voto:
Very beautiful, just a step below Madame Bovary, which is a more solid and cohesive record, whereas here there are some weaknesses but it’s still a vintage Guccini, with two or three truly outstanding songs.
Francesco Guccini Stagioni
Voto:
For me, Guccini here begins to show some weakness, I’m sorry to say, but how can we give 5 to this Stagioni? And what do we give to La Signora Bovary? It's devoid of truly memorable songs.
Francesco Guccini D'amore di morte e di altre sciocchezze
Voto:
Great. Letter, I Would Like, Four Rags, Stars, the same Cyrano as much as it's a bit overrated, are all truly inspired songs that didn't hint at the decline of the following albums. In the post-Bovary period, it competes with What Doesn't.
