I also infected The Clash, a dark work like the cover, with Mongolian choirs and the drum machine that beats on us throughout the album. If someone owns one of the legendary 1000 LPs that were printed, they have half a worker's salary at home (perhaps even more; rumors say 1000 euros a copy). The poetry of the "five senses" is by Dylan Thomas, Faust'o recites it in his own way, mumbling through his teeth. For me, it's too difficult an album and not a masterpiece. Kudos to The Clash for letting themselves be carried away by emotion.
