It's easy to criticize Barbra Streisand and the outrageous prices asked to see her in concert... Then Tom Waits comes along, with tickets costing 150 euros, and ... no one says a word!
How come I've read so few criticisms of the outrageous prices charged by Tom Waits for the triple shows he offered in Milan last week? And it’s worth noting that this time the journalists had even more reason, since no press passes were distributed.
Uncle Tom is so untouchable that even in circumstances like these... people prefer to let him off the hook.
