CPT!!! Open your eyes, the evidence is there, clear and bright. Maybe some people just don't want to see it... end of the Cold War = end of a common enemy to fight (and it was communism). At that point, the patriotic (????) Western democracies didn't know what to oppose anymore, they no longer had a "boogeyman" to scare us and keep us holed up in our nice little houses. First, they tried (as usual) to stop a movement coming from below, then they found a common enemy to pursue and showed us as a new scarecrow.

I read Veltroni's words and I am horrified; the events of Sigonella are part of Italian myths, and like all myths, people talk about them but don’t know what they are talking about. I thank the Craxi government for the 180,000,000 lire that the Italian government had to pay me, but my mother's life was priceless.

CPT, I said it before, the dress rehearsals were done in Naples (and in other minor events), just to study the public's responses, which as usual had no reactions, except for the usual 3/4 politically aligned with the far "left." There was a need to give a lesson to the entire movement and to show clearly who is in command. And those in command certainly don't reside at Palazzo Chigi. Anyway, regarding the fact that we are a people of "beoti," I get confirmation of that every day; I get confirmation when I pass near a hospital and see that they haven't had a contract for 4 years, I get confirmation when I listen to the news (always with open segments about the Pope's hair), and I finally get confirmation when I see that the people who call for "security" are the same ones who daily consume 22 hours of TV.
