How much has been said about Vasco after his latest LP “Vivere o niente” -
is only what Vasco is not: -
as always, when something weak and old appears, it tends to be defined in exaggerated terms,
resorting to hyperbolic models.
But Vasco is banalizable, he is the obvious replica of something, Vasco is the past in all its evidence.
A music that is predictable and poor, a voice that is both hoarse and nasal that expresses the lack of ideas and admits ignorance as the real condition of existence.

@odra on faust'o I am always right. Suicide grabs with both hands from ten cc, queen & sparks and they were already old references from a few years back (by the way, they are references for the first Decibel and a bit for Vasco too), we, damn! were only 15/18 years old, the stuff that the older brothers listened to was already old for us, we were hungry for new sounds.

Exactly. I have always found some records from '78/'79, recorded by newcomers, to be old from the start [Suicidio di Faust'o (which will be reworked in the subsequent Poco Zucchero), Decibel by Decibel (much more original is the next Vivo da Re), Cosa Vuoi Che Sia Una Canzone (with the next three works, even if they will have a less singer-songwriter style) by Vasco].
