Extremely nice review; I only own "The original soundtrack," which is also a pretty good album. Hi!
Sam Peckinpah Cane Di Paglia

Beautiful, stunning, and utterly murky: I would add that in the end, the victory belongs to the intellectual Hoffman, not to the peasants; interesting is the final shot, featuring the protagonist and the madman together, as if to say that indeed, the more evolved man wins; but ultimately, despite the many differences, between the de-evolved and the evolved, the common thread remains violence. Furthermore, the rape seems almost vividly encouraged by the wife, a bit of an act she uses to suggest that she feels she belongs to the savage world, a bit a "spite" towards her husband, and partly a means through which she wants to awaken her husband's virility and make him pay for the brutes. It is also noteworthy how she arbitrarily decides to "not decide" to openly betray her husband, but lets the rapist do it, a sign that the woman WANTS to be possessed, even brutally... Peckinpah may have been a misogynist, or perhaps, given his lack of trust in humanity, he was merely relaying his anthropological conclusions.

Here, I found it: perhaps the real problem lies in a certain conventionality of sound... Ariciao

Thank you for the compliments; @ecioso: I can’t even imagine how much you paid for it; @GiovanniNatoli: I don’t think this record is linked to drug problems, although I’m not entirely sure; Miles had already gone through Cold Turkey, as he calls it, and Newport was just a week away; nah, I don't believe the issue with the record lies in how Miles sounds, who in fact rolled on the ballads as we know, maybe it’s just that the sound in general is a bit poor, a bit monotonous, like a late night bar (but I reiterate: what a late night bar)... I don't know, but I know that an important component is that I expected more from these two... Bye.

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful film, the problem is that it has little (or nothing) to do with Seven, and therefore the comparison is somewhat unfounded; I’ll tell you more, in my opinion, the core of the film lies in that wonderful ongoing shift of perspectives and opinions about the protagonists that we, as viewers, are subjected to, which reaches its peak in the marvelous ending, where freebird is interrupted like in a coitus interruptus, saying "hey, you’re getting excited over the escape of a bunch of dirty bastards. Wake up, it’s cinema." Metacinema in a horror/thriller/road movie, who offers more?
P.S.: the dialogue with the chicken vendor is cult.

This one had escaped me, messier Odradek, among the most beautiful pages you have ever written, and to think that you have written so many... Show yourself once in a while, last year, in summer, with that impressive sequence of impressive reviews, you kept me quite company... Bye
Carpacho! La fuga dei cervelli

Well, I don't believe that the review is leading anywhere; on the contrary, it made it clear that, although it's indie-pop, it seems pre-cooked, lacking bite and burnt shortly after release. If anything, the problem is that, being a not particularly famous band, you should have provided some information about these carpacho! 4 for encouragement.
