Probably the greatest...the only rock musician who can be compared to the greats of jazz...read the liner notes of one of Miles’ masterpieces, Kind of Blue; they often mention Duane, and I assure you it’s truly remarkable!

I believe there is a hierarchy of absolute values in art, as it is objectively possible to recognize masterpieces!!! I believe that metal has no artistic purpose and lacks the dignity to be included in music that truly matters! Anyway, certainly Rollins took some punches from Coltrane, but with the others, one could discuss for a long time!!! However, I recommend everyone to go see the legendary Sonny on July 14 at Umbria Jazz for €15! One of the last great living jazz musicians!!!
