I fully agree with the first paragraph. I haven't heard these yet, but after reading the review, I think I'll get them. Just to mention, last Saturday I saw Marta Sui Tubi live, and they were AMAZING, really talented; if they were exported abroad, they would achieve massive success. The other day, I had the pleasure of listening to Offlaga Disco Pax from Reggio Emilia, also really great. Take that, foreigners fan :D

Vortex, I'm really sorry but I don't follow you: TO BE means TO EXIST, something that "is" is something that concretely presents/exists in a certain way, something that APPEARS is something that presents itself in a manner but that doesn't necessarily present itself in its true form, in its essence. How can they be synonyms? Anyway, sorry if I was a bit polemic in my first comment; for the review I understand your point of view, personally I found it effective. Bye bye :)

So why did all those who gave it a 2 or a 1 not write their own reviews? With your comments, you've written a treatise, if you're so good at it. Then, where did the reviewer say that the book is a hodgepodge of ideas and vulgarities thrown together randomly? They wrote "IT APPEARS to be a hodgepodge of ideas and vulgarities, etc.", not that it actually is. Brief but effective review, a solid 5.
