Elio e le Storie Tese Del meglio del nostro meglio vol 1

In fact, I don't even like Zappa, but I listen to him more willingly, perhaps because I can ignore the lyrics and just focus on the music, which is still of a certain level.
King Crimson Larks' Tongues In Aspic

Fripp and the musicians of the moment are undoubtedly great, but I find their music a bit too narcissistic, and Fripp is the epitome of coldness. On top of that, there's an intellectual attitude that frankly I don't understand—first of all because his cultural background is questionable, and secondly because he doesn't strike me as some sort of guitar genius. At least not according to my tastes. For me, the Area are infinitely more interesting as a group because they are a true avant-garde band (to call them progressive seems misplaced; perhaps PROGRESSIVE yes, but for me, pure progressive is what the Genesis represent—epic, solemn, grandiloquent music, filled with classical influences, brimming with pathos, capable of moving you with every listen). Can we say that Crimson's music evokes emotions? Yes, that of "In the Court of the Crimson King" does—perhaps that is the manifesto of progressive, but what about the subsequent albums? Does "Lizard" evoke emotions? In "Island" there are very moving pieces like "Island," "Prelude Song of the Gulls," and the magnificent "Sailor's Tale," but in the other albums? I don't know. Sorry for the lengthy post, but sometimes talking about music on this site feels good. Maybe someone will respond to me.

I don't understand these guys; they are all great musicians (I believe Elio himself is a professor of flute if I remember correctly), with enviable musical culture, and they make this music on the verge of the absurd... In my opinion, they don’t appreciate themselves.
Morcheeba Parts Of The Process

Look, I really like them, she is lovely and I find their music very pleasant and unique. I don't know this collection, however I believe I know almost all the songs. Anyway, a very special and interesting band. Fair review, in my opinion you could have streamlined the part about the band's history.
Shakira Oral Fixation Vol.2

Gemmam, why don't you express your opinion about Shakira??? :-) I would like to hear the judgment of a girl (which I believe you are based on your nickname).
Jordan Rudess Secrets Of The Muse
Voto:
Well, I think he had his space in Train too... There are some insane keyboard phrases in Stream of Consciousness, just to mention one, that are really frightening...
Blackmore's Night The Village Lanterne
Voto:
Well, in "Smoke on the Water" there's also a beautiful solo... But what is this record?

How right you are, Aniel... what a woman...
Jordan Rudess Secrets Of The Muse
Voto:
Rudess is an incredible musician, but the issue is that his keyboard often feels a bit "cold," too cerebral as you put it ("This is music played only with the mind and with a simple keyboard. Nothing more, nothing more. I mean with the head."). Here, the thing is limited.
Lacuna Coil Karmacode

Moreover, the cover is truly awful.
