The fact is that sometimes the curiosity to read what has been written in yet another review about the DTs is too strong.... For my part, I rarely read them; I mostly enjoy reading the comments...... :-D

Oh my, this time they are really pushing every limit... Dream Theater more or less ended with Scenes From A Memory (aside from a few nice tracks here and there).
Dream Theater Falling Into Infinity

A crap album, but Hell's Kitchen is a masterpiece and Take Away My Pain is beautiful. The rest is to be thrown away.

I agree, 5 is too much though. Not a masterpiece but an album of extraordinary class.

Yes, but the album hasn't been released yet, right? I found a few tracks here and there, like The Dark Eternal Night or something like that, but it's still not enough to judge an album... I agree, though, that the premises are discouraging.
Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here

Well, the review is pathetic, I'm sorry. This album deserves better. Moreover, I don’t understand how you can give 4.4/5 to a piece like "Wish You Were Here" and even 3/5 to "Have a Cigar". As far as I'm concerned, it would be: SOYCD=5/5, WTTM=4/5, HAC=4/5, WYWH=5/5.
And I agree with Gilmour: this is the album where the 4 musicians express themselves at their greatest, and it’s also much more heartfelt than The Dark Side of the Moon, which is a much more cerebral than emotional work.

I completely agree. They are a band that has run its course. Unfortunately, the incredible mess made with Labrie's vocals in Score and the despicable commercial gimmick of the Official Bootleg have opened my eyes to this group for which I had sincere admiration. So I went back, analyzing their albums more objectively and aiming to grasp the essence, in terms of originality and artistic value, of their pieces. Well, TOT is indeed a mishmash with little sense of riff and parts shamefully copied from Metallica, Pantera, etc. (at first, I didn't notice, not being very familiar with metal...), and Six Degrees is pretty much a copy of classic progressive: I was incredibly disappointed when they pointed out the plagiarism of The Wall by Kansas regarding the main theme of the suite on the second CD. In short, to narrow it down, the only valuable albums are, in my opinion, Images And Words and Awake, especially the latter.
Returning to the single, it’s truly pathetic and predictable, as well as copied. The atmosphere is not good, in fact... however, I would say it’s worth waiting for the album's release before making definitive judgments. It’s certain that for me, DT ended with SCenes From A Memory (which already represents a clear step backward compared to the works with Moore on keyboards).
LaBrie absolutely unrecognizable. Rudess unbearable as always.

No no. I really don't like it. Some parts I find to be antimusical.

I didn't understand it either. Sublime review.

Exactly, I completely agree with what you are saying, especially in the last lines of the review. Perfect review, well done.
