help: I can only say that last night there was a "concert" at the Brianteo in Monza (right in front of my house) and even though there were barely two thousand excited fans, I could hear everything as if it were in my room. The rendition of "A chi mi dice" was heartbreaking.....thank goodness that due to the lack of repertoire, the torture didn't last long. Some things shouldn't be allowed. ------1.

I fully agree (unfortunately) with what the know-it-all said (who may be a know-it-all, but expresses some powerful concepts). It's exactly like that for me: corruption, favoritism, and the "sacra corona" control everything. The state and the law don’t exist, and the roads aren’t just half-finished... they are better off not starting them at all. People spend their time at the bar and in the square; the kids don’t work and make their 10 euros serving at bars or pizzerias, or more simply dealing with the weed grown on their balconies, with nightclub discounts, or with burned CDs and things like that. After 19-20 years old, they disappear, sucked into the military, into various Switzerland, Germany, and Milan, or often into S.E.R.T. and jails. Then they either reappear with flashy cars a few years later or they don’t come back at all. The old folks age baked by the sun, and the kids learn how to make do. It’s all sad, but damn I miss it now that I’m here among people who think you’re trash if you work less than 8 hours a day or look at you like a Zulu with a ring in his nose because you eat friselle instead of risotto...
