Hateful character. Some time ago, Allevi came to give a concert in my city. I happily missed it, but I read the interview in the local newspaper. Question: "What do you say to those who tell you you're a genius?" Answer: "I may sound conceited, but I say there's some truth to it..." and right there, if I were the interviewer, I would have told Allevi to shove it... then Allevi formulated his definition of genius: he would be merely the conduit, the music would pass through his hands and the piano to reach the audience. Damn, what a pleasure!!! :-) Who cares who the best actor out there is (Rezza is the best "performer" in the world, he even says so...) just go see this movie when it comes out at the devil's house, it deserves even more than the Coen's one... Elio e le storie tese have never been pathetic and they never will be!!! I’ve never read Cuore. The Bonghi players are just an excuse to denounce what happened in the Gioia forest...
