Well, the movie is garbage. I don't know about the book...

I believe you zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Unfortunately, I’m now one of those who think "read one Nori book, read them all." And yes, in person, it’s all more fun... That time there was also the surprise, I didn’t know Nori...

Thank you, Odra... Feel free to lend it to blechtrommel, because I went to listen to the files linked by ZZZZZZZZZZZ and started laughing, but not like that time when I saw and heard Nori live... I don't know, Nori was funnier a few years ago...

It's a pleasure for me too, Odra... It may be late, and I might be more knowledgeable than you, but you at Nori, reading you, have become quite attached. :-)

Derivations and Landings? mmmmh... Indeed, I didn't remember that. So maybe it wasn't Fernandel but derivations and landings? Alright, one or the other... Then, but does the saga of Learco Ferrari really end? Naaaaa, you can't fool me... But now you've piqued my curiosity and I'm almost tempted to look for the book... I'll read it while awake, though, because it doesn't count while you sleep...

Regarding downloads, the incredible amount of music at our disposal, the quality of listening, etc.: A while ago, I read, or rather I was forced to read, a collection of jazz album reviews by a terrible English poet from the 20th century, Philip Larkin. Well, the guy started buying 78 RPM singles as a kid and, when LPs came out, he hated them from the very first moment. "Why," he said, "should I pay more to have in my pocket, besides what I like, potentially useless or bad tracks?" There you go, technology is making tremendous strides, progress is unstoppable, but the problems remain the same. :-)

Ah, I really liked the review... You are truly "a writer who knows their craft...". :-)

Come on, Odra... Have you read Paolo Nori – Learco Ferrari? "Le cose non sono le cose" and "Bassotuba non c'è" I really liked... I read both after attending one of his public readings, and while reading them, I felt like I could hear his voice... Since "Grandi Ustionati" (when I saw him, Nori bore the marks of the accident mentioned in the book…) the effect has somewhat faded and boredom set in. By the way, how many publishers has he changed? Fernandel, Einaudi, Feltrinelli, and now Bompiani... At this rate, he'll try them all, since he'll never run out of material for his books... Luigi Malerba, a writer highly regarded by Nori, a few years ago, in Repubblica, panned one of his (Nori's) books, I don't remember which but he had already written quite a few, saying more or less: "it's a missed opportunity...". You see... If he happens to come around my area again, I'll rush to listen to him. Reading this or any of his other books? I don't think so... Bye.

It’s true, "Venice mating call" sucks and the way it’s presented... Better "Dream Letter" or the BBC sessions played with Lee Underwood and Danny Thompson (if I remember correctly) that can be found on "Morning Glory"...

Great job Johnny Depp, priceless Martin Landau, and there’s even Orson Welles...
