Alan Parsons' albums are all very well written, very well arranged, very well played, and very well sung... and yet I find them unbearable!

I listened to the track from the link and other things on this Lila Downs' site. I haven't heard enough to give a rating, but to say "great discovery," I've certainly heard that. And the review is nice too...

I only know George Duke from his collaboration with Zappa and that extraordinary band from "Roxy..." and "One size...". But I've seen his resume on his website... Long and impressive to the point of being intimidating. Your mention seems almost tailor-made to encourage me to explore more. Too bad about "Echidna's arf" and "Uncle Remus"...

@leonid: flood also forgot to mention that Lenny Krevitz had a daughter with Lisa Bonet, the "Denise" from "The Cosby Show."

I’m waiting for you... And of course, I extend the same invitation to Fosca and Stronko to come by my future de-pages. @editors: thank you very much for the corrections.

I've seen them several times already, including with Bisio at the festivaletteratura in 2004 here in Mantova. Bisio read some stories from "favole centimetropolitane" and "Animali Spiaccicati." Last year at the music festival, also in Mantova, they had a pretty terrible sound, to be honest, and when someone pointed it out to Elio, he thought they were joking. The guy at the mixer had this expression like "what the hell do I have to do with this... I just happened to pass by...". A bit of a disappointment considering they started an hour late... But they're coming back around on the 29th and despite everything, I think I'll go see them.

@sfascia carrozze: I had been waiting for a while to read a bit of your maccheronic on one of my de-pages: you’ll be welcome on the next ones too. @trucido: thank you, thank you, thank you. @nickghostdrake: I also love the musician from whom you borrowed your nickname (drake). @ajejebrazorf: we obviously agree on Tim's voice, I just wanted to provide an interpretation of how he uses it and why. Thanks also for the samples, even though I couldn't listen to them... @boredom: too kind... @Stoopid: I've got it, and I've finished the album. @Petomane: next time, try to hold back. @Godbowl: try again with Jeff, you won't regret it. @hugoniot: it's true, "live at the troubadour" is very beautiful too, but I can't stand how Tim introduces that damn instrumental called "Venice Mating Call"... @editors: can we do something about those corrections I asked you via email? Thanks...
