Hi Stoopid, precisely because Debaser is better than Scaruffi, this page seems out of place to me. Maybe Scaruffi won’t take offense reading it, but that doesn’t change the fact that this review is open to more than one criticism, keeping in mind that everyone here obviously writes what they want. As for Scaruffi's well-argued judgments, I don’t know what he says about the Beatles, but for my review of Bill Frisell's albums with the soundtracks to Buster Keaton's films, I did some research online and came across a page of his that talks about those films. For "Go west," a film where Buster is always hanging around a cow, Scaruffi talks about "intense hostility" towards women. Now, for someone who knows the character a little, that is not only an unreasonable judgment with little argumentation, it’s downright nonsense. This is why I reiterate that, in my opinion, we must steer clear of know-it-alls and Scaruffi in particular. Again, hi.

I'm sorry Dante, but your review didn't make me laugh. And the final note doesn't save it from my criticism, which is still, like your review by the way, gentle. You shouldn't make humor out of real or presumed physical defects of those who are the subject of your satire, or by inventing tics and unhygienic habits. By doing so, you implement what you intended to avoid: gratuitous offense. At most, one could consider what Scaruffi (by the way, your distortions of his name reminded me of Emilio Fede, just to say...) writes and try to demonstrate why it's wrong. Or maybe just ignore it altogether, which seems to me the best attitude. Bye.

Thank you Partial and enjoy your meal! :-) I take this opportunity to thank and greet Mrs. (or Miss) Kosmogabri as well. This gratitude and greeting come with guilty delay, but that doesn’t make them any less heartfelt. Hello everyone...

@Roby86: See, sometimes coincidences... At this point, it would have been better if I had found the 45 RPM with "Ripples" in Prague: on that site you mentioned, it's listed at 181.25 ¤: not bad!:-).

@roby86: I know "It's your self." But it's not the b-side of "Ripples," it's the b-side of "Your own special way." I can say this with certainty because I have a copy of the 45 RPM I found a few years ago in a little shop in Prague during a vacation. The song, in my opinion, aside from the ending taken from "Los Endos," isn't that great. If we're talking about hidden gems, then the very last track also signed by Hackett, "Inside and out," is better. I don't have Archives 2, but if you say "Match of the Day" is missing, it could be that "Inside and Out" is missing too. However, you can find both on an EP from '77 that has also been reissued on CD: "Spot the pigeon." Bye.

Well, in my opinion, rather than risking a dive into pure trash by continuing to sing Fabrizio's songs, Cristiano will never free himself from his dependence on his father. Maybe I'm wrong, but once he processes the grief, both emotionally and artistically, Cristiano will have solved a good part of his problems.

I heard some pieces by Luciano Berio sung by Barberian, and while I was impressed by her voice, I didn't find the connection with his compositions. Barberian, by the way, was an inspiration for Tim Buckley, and this gives her an additional connection to "light" music. As for the questionable results often achieved by opera singers when tackling pop repertoire, I generally agree, but I believe that the success of Cathy is revealed in her live version of "Ticket to Ride." Without abandoning the academic approach and seriousness in her performance, Cathy has evidently managed to express the carefree mood of the Beatles. The audience responded with hearty laughter. In short, Cathy Barberian is not Pavarotti, and even though I haven't heard the entire album, I trust that audience and give it five stars. Bye.

When it is said that one goes above and beyond... And all this for me, my dear anonymous? Oh, I am flattered, but don't you think your efforts deserve a better cause? Come on, but stay cheerful for heaven's sake...

Well, dear Logic, I'm definitely "out of it" but I'm not your friend Francesco. :) The judgment you read was obviously limited to the little I've heard; in fact, I didn't vote for the album. But the little I've heard I like. These stereokimono also seem like nice guys, which is extremely important to me if you're making that kind of music. As for your ménage, I reiterate "maybe another time." :-)
