Even Tom Waits has set some of his stuff to music, a theater show called "The Black Rider" which, just between us, isn't half bad. Bye.

I would be stricter: this album is very boring in all its tracks. If I'm not mistaken, Pick Withers was playing on the "spring," who later became the drummer for Dire Straits.

Dear Dante, I want you to know that I fully understand what the emojis mean. And I want to point out that I ignored a far more uncivil comment, that of that charming fellow Waties. And why? Because honestly, I couldn’t care less about Waties... You see, the dispute between me and Punisher didn’t start here; it began on another review. And just as Punisher enjoys spreading crap (excuse the term) on other people's reviews, I've had my fun spreading crap on Punisher. And anyway, if it reassures you, we’ve already cleared things up. Thanks for your interest, though. ;) @Iside: but guilty of what? Just relax yourself too. :)

O.K., I take my responsibilities, Krystal. :) And consistently, I give you a solid five. Wonderful review... Five also for the speed in accommodating me. @punisher: I won't dwell on "companion" and "rude": I’ve already replied to you on LERO’s review. I’ve already answered about the "bearded" comment too, but a question arises spontaneously: where does this morbid attention to my beard come from? I don't want to comment on you as a person (only on what you write), but, damn, it’s quite a curious thing... Regarding "terroni", Punisher, you almost got it right: my father was born in Altamura (Ba), and I’ll let you imagine where he would send you. And don’t waste your emoji and smirks. You’re not even funny that way.

For Punisher: it's pointless to quote Bukowski when poor Charles passed away twelve years ago and never had the luck—or more likely the misfortune—to stumble upon any of your writings. Let him rest in peace... And who tells you that I'm your companion? You are the best representative of rudeness here on Debaser, as evidenced by your first two comments; indeed, I responded to your rudeness and your attempt to turn the tables is just childish. And one more thing: if you and Iside in Chat start talking about my beard, damn, your conversations must be really interesting...

Well, I’m sorry to disappoint you, but I understood your writings (by the way, do you like the word "writings"?) perfectly well, at least the ones I read, and that’s proven by the fact that if I talked nonsense, you talked nonsense too... It’s the veiled poetry that simply doesn’t come across... And about your beard, mind your own business.

Damn Punisher, what rudeness for such a polite review. If you allow me Lero, I'll defend you. I understood the music that these Sushi make perfectly well: radio-friendly and catchy means simple without pretensions or virtuosity, the term electronic is crystal clear and the reference to Mescal gives me the idea of a sound that has nothing to do with Lollipop or D.J. Francesco. On the other hand, we are not discussing Keith Jarret or Frank Zappa. A few hints for a pop band seems more than enough. Sure, maybe Lero could have included some samples, but that doesn’t seem to justify your bitterness. As for the lyrics, Lero has expressed himself extensively. Regarding the nonsense, I've read several reviews signed by Punisher. Is that why they don’t publish them? You only escape rejection thanks to Stronko. Bye.

Never said that you should care about Copeland, that Copeland invented pizzica or that the taranta is just the night of the taranta. Mine was just a silly remark... We're sensitive, huh...

The Calanti are just fine even though I don't know who they are... Once, musicians and dancers came to Mantua to put on a show in the square. It was BEAUTIFUL. The group is called "Ariacorte", do you know them? I also bought "Taranzando," which is their CD. Anyway, to make your review of the Calanti less "suicidal," here’s a tip: mention Stewart Copeland from The Police as much as you can. Maybe he has nothing to do with them, but a few years ago he played at the "notte della taranta" and, with the same musicians, also at the first of May concert: in my opinion, this way you'll limit the damage. :)
