On his site, there are some videos to download. One even featuring Donovan, where Shawn Philipps plays the sitar. Good, though, I don't know, it didn't impress me...

Whoever wanted that cover deserves Dr. Landau's treatments. :-) It's a nice story, though, with possessed grandmothers, shrinks, crazy kids, and inquisitorial priests; a regular King Diamond could've slipped it in. :-)

@Nofake. I think I wasn't clear in my last post: I WAS JOKING. :-) The texts are out there on the web to be read and copied. Come on... :-) @Kosmogabri: as I mentioned a bit earlier, the review I wrote is only indirectly about Falco. It's about Drahdiwaberl, one of his old bands. But of course, I talk a lot about him. In fact, the review is entirely built around the element of surprise. I hoped no one knew that Falco had been in that group. And indeed... Well, if you read it now, the element of surprise will definitely be somewhat diminished... :-)

"Change of heart" is one of my favorite tracks by Metheny.

Frankly, Johnny Cash doesn’t say much to me... The parody that Bobby White, keyboardist and singer for Frank Zappa, makes of him in "The best band you never heard" is beautiful...

All those songs.

@Nofake: Ah, so that's where you get the lyrics for all those songs. :-) Not that I didn't suspect it before, but you're not playing fair. :-) @Iside: My review isn't about Falco, it's about Drahdiwaberl, the band where Falco played bass before going solo. I'm copying the link to that band's MySpace page here (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=122836080). If you want, go listen to "Ganz Wien," it's a song written by Falco that sounds a lot like "Der Kommissar." Bye.

"Cigarettes and Coffee" is one of my signature pieces and those who attended the Brescia meeting know that my version is definitely better than the original. :-) Iside, isn't "No east, no west (we are the best)" also on this album? Anyway, you played your five with that "Vamos ALLA playa." I'm sorry, but I can't compromise on Righeira. :-)

@Iside and Nofake: the Trio, Camerini, Bearzot... Yes, all very nice, but Captain Sensible (https://www.debaser.it/main/Video.aspx?y=_pqC563bX_w), back then no one could beat him. :-)

Well, how can I disagree with you, Odra... This anonymous one seems to have rather confused ideas... In the meantime, I took the opportunity to read the review and listen to the sample, and I think I'll look up the xiu xiu... Looking forward to speaking again, I hope. :-)
