Simple Minds Street Fighting Years
Voto:
The latest masterpiece from Simple Minds. "Soul Crying Out" drives me crazy... it's nothing short of exhilarating: I rank it among the best songs written by Kerr and company. The title track and "Mandela Day" are also spectacular.
Simple Minds Sparkle In The Rain
Voto:
A beautiful album without a doubt... but we are a step below both the experimental debut trilogy and the great "New Gold Dream": however, we remain at an excellent level. The power of "Waterfront" and "Speed Your Love To Me" is extraordinary, while "Up On The Catwalk" and "Shake Off The Ghosts" are very enjoyable as well.
Gary Moore Wild Frontier
Voto:
Great album this "Wild Frontiers"... I really like Moore's style, especially in the more epic tracks like "Over The Hills And Far Away."
Steppenwolf Steppenwolf
Voto:
Absolutely outstanding album... truly a piece of history. It would deserve a 5 just for "Born To Be Wild," but the rest is also of excellent quality. Finally, a review of this great band, which is unfortunately very underrated (the case where the popularity of a song surpasses the popularity of the band).
George Harrison Brainwashed
Voto:
I agree with you, Green, on the assessment of this album... without a doubt, it is very enjoyable. There are several classy touches (such as the stunning title track). The information about Harrison as a musician and as a man is also very interesting.
AC/DC If You Want Blood.. You've Got It

Fantastic: it's pure energy! "If You Want Blood, You've Got It"... what can I say? The title is a reflection of this live!!!
David Zucker Una Pallottola Spuntata

Absolutely brilliant film... one of my all-time favorites!
Pavlov's Dog At The Sound Of The Bell

Nice review Pibroch! I only have "Pampered Menial" by Pavlov and it's not bad at all... maybe I'll get this one too...
Damiano Damiani Alex l'Ariete
Voto:
This is not the unintentional masterpiece of trash: guys, perhaps you haven't seen the legendary "I Predatori Dell'Anno Omega" yet... now that's a Gem with a capital G! Go check out the hilarious review at << FilmBrutti.com - Recensioni di B-movie, film brutti ed altri disastri cinematografici >> ... of course, being a site for bad films, there’s also "Alex L'ariete" if you're interested. Enjoy reading and have fun!
Dream Theater A Change Of Seasons
Voto:
The covers didn't excite me much, but I must admit that the suite "A Change Of Season" is quite good: it's very rich and well-balanced, especially in the more acoustic moments... The two main flaws (as usual when it comes to DT), in my opinion, are LaBrie's voice not always being up to par and Portnoy's "plastic" drumming. - The album is more of an EP than a real album: I only rate the suite.
