Steve Hackett Voyage Of The Acolyte
Voto:
For me, along with "Spectral Mornings", it’s the best by Hackett. Great album... congratulations on the choice!
Pendragon The Window Of Life

Not bad for a first review... same rating as Pibroch (for the same reasons). The only track I know from this album is the excellent "The Last Man on Earth." - PS: I agree with punkISdead and HetfieldGod... what a great game GTA Vice City, one of the best in recent times! The entire GTA saga is spectacular... but Vice City remains the best for its beautiful atmospheres of '80s Miami. It's a shame they decided not to release the spin-off "Vice City Stories" for PC!!!

Monument The First Monument

Just listened to it (after a long search on eMule!)... in the end, I’m also for the three stars. The album itself isn’t too bad, it's just a bit too inconsistent: there are very well-executed moments (especially "Stale Flesh," "First Taste Of Love," and "Overture For Limp Piano In C") alternating with some decidedly naive ones. I couldn't quite digest the singer's voice and style. - I reconfirm the rating previously given to the review.
Led Zeppelin How The West Was Won - Disc 1-2-3

A performance that can only be described as granite... a joy for the ears!
Genesis Foxtrot

Masterpiece! - PS: There were already 5 reviews of Foxtrot. Was it necessary to make another one?
Eric Clapton 461 Ocean Boulevard

Great review Green... a bit shorter than usual, but still effective. Regarding the album, I think my rating speaks for itself: it’s an amazing record, I’m totally in love with it... it starts off brilliantly (the guitar riff in "Motherless Children," for example, is great), and continues strong. A couple of fillers lose some momentum ("Please Be With Me" and especially "Let It Grow"... with a vaguely country flavor)... but toward the end, the album takes off again with the last two tracks. Just re-listened to it: excellent!

The title track is stunning (although Valerio isn't entirely wrong... you can tell they've "taken inspiration" from We Used To Know)... some other tracks aren't bad either, like "New Kid In Town." However, at some points the album is too sugary for my ears. Anyway, on average, not bad (let's say three and a half stars...) - As for the review: I find Grasshoper's perspective much more reasonable.
Michael Jackson Dangerous
Voto:
In my opinion, this is Jackson's last good album: a few good tracks like "Keep The Faith" and "Black Or White," along with others that are less successful (the 3-4 ballads on this album are quite cloying...). From here on, it’s a disastrous decline both psychologically and artistically: MJ is a glaring example of a man who has thrown away a dazzling career, even if it was not very productive (not considering compilations, remixes, etc., there have been 5 albums from '79 to today). Yesterday he was considered a legend... today not even saints would say a good word for him!

I almost forgot... good review.
