Interesting... I'll take note of it, and as soon as I find it, I'll gladly give it a listen!

I mean... well, young man: he's not as young as I thought, I'm just now noticing he's 41! Let's say 'younger than the others'. I'm not trying to say that people in their forties are old, mind you... hehehe!

A tremendous return for Journey with this "Revelation." It feels like being back in their golden age... from "Departure" to "Frontiers." The tracks are energetic and excellently played (I won’t give it the highest rating just because, as usual for this band, there's a bit too much 'sugar' for my tastes). I also want to highlight, like the reviewer, the excellent instrumental that closes CD1. - A great credit to the band is their choice of a young and unknown singer (instead of opting for a peer whose vocal cords are probably semi-destroyed)... who has the 'small advantage' of possessing a voice remarkably similar to Steve Perry's: I believe that CD2, featuring old classics re-recorded by the new lineup, was specifically included to emphasize this strong vocal affinity.

Great rediscovery, as well as an equally great review. I listened to the album a long time ago and, before giving it a final rating, I need to refresh my memory a bit. Nevertheless, I remember it as an excellent album, and your page illustrates and reflects it perfectly. In the meantime, no one can take away the 5 from the review...

I had no idea about the existence of this project... Clapton + Winwood?! I think I definitely need to have it!

I admit that I'm a "newbie" listener of Rainbow, and I've absorbed their discography in a rather haphazard way, instead of following it chronologically. In light of this, I fully agree with those who say that the Dio era is infinitely superior. However, I didn't find this album bad at all... definitely enjoyable: the hits "I Surrender" and "Can't Happen Here" are delightful. The catchy "No Release" and "Midtown Tunnel Vision" are good too, along with the energetic "Spotlight Kid." Then there are undoubtedly a few tired tracks... - Rating: 3 and 1/2 stars.

Disco, in my opinion, quite disappointing... definitely a step back compared to the good "Octane." This album lacks cohesion and an underlying guideline, both among the tracks and within the songs themselves. Some songs are noteworthy: I mention, for example, the gripping "Is This Love" and the robust "They Know We Know" (which is part of the fake final suite), but the rest ranges from decent to poor. In their favor, it must be said that they are gradually shedding the label of a prog/clone band. I hope that in the future they continue on the path of sophisticated hard rock, which is definitely more suited to them. I give it 3 stars because I feel generous - PS: I too had definitely overestimated them some time ago, but it only takes a few listens to understand...

A greeting to you, Antonio. I will follow your advice on Curved Air... starting with the first album. As for Jobson's solo album, could you tell me if/how it is similar to his previous "Zinc/The Green Album"? Thank you.

Rereading the review "cold", I realize, perhaps caught up in the enthusiasm, that I actually exaggerated. Regarding this live performance, the right rating would be 4 stars... instead, I (over)valued "Snow", a demonstration that tastes change...
