B.B. King & Eric Clapton Riding With The King
Voto:
I bought this album as soon as it came out (in 2000, if I remember correctly). The title track is indeed a real gem... but the rest of the album didn't excite me much back then. Now, it's been sitting around collecting dust for quite a while. Honestly, I don't even remember it very well... it could be an opportunity to give it another listen.

Of this group, I only know the good "Flirtin' With Disaster" and a few tracks from "Warriors Of The Rainbow Bridge" (their latest, right?)... and they're not bad. This one, on the other hand, I don't know... I might give it a listen when I get the chance.
The Who The Kids Are Alright (original soundtrack)
Voto:
Excellent soundtrack that perfectly reflects the career of The Who... since it's basically a sort of greatest hits, but composed of phenomenal live performances. Unfortunately, I have never had the chance to see the film "Uragano Who."
John Fogerty Revival Tour - Live in Roma 25.07.09

It must have been really special... I didn't know it was still active! Great music (even though, of course, I can't judge the live performance) and great review.
Electronic Arts Need For Speed: Most Wanted
Voto:
In my opinion, the Need For Speed saga had already dramatically declined in quality at this point. The first three titles are pieces of history... the fourth wasn't bad, but it was with the fifth installment ("Porsche 2000") that the quality peak was reached and the essence of NFS thinking was encapsulated. After that, excluding the two decent "Underground" games, I think they have done very little that is worthwhile. Three stars because I'm generous!
Id-Software Doom
Voto:
Another piece of history. Honestly, I was far from skilled at Doom... however, I can't help but acknowledge its great qualities and the fact that, back then, it was an extremely 'ahead of its time' title. A new genre of video games was born: FPS.
Ozzy Osbourne Ozzmosis
Voto:
I’ve rediscovered this album lately (my comment on this review just turned two years old!) after a long period during which I hadn’t picked it up. I must admit that I’ve fully reassessed it... a simple record, not particularly "heavy": the atmospheres lean more towards hard rock with a touch of pop here and there, yet it all comes across as effective and enjoyable. 4 stars! - I reconfirm, however, both the quality of the review (although I don’t entirely agree that "Ozzmosis" is dark and gloomy) and the fact that I still consider "Down To Earth" a good record for target shooting.
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band Live @ Stadio Olimpico (TO) 21.07.09

I can say it: I was there! It was the first time I saw Springsteen live, and I was mesmerized. To be honest, my knowledge of the Boss is quite limited, to the point that I knew barely 50% of the songs performed (I know, I need to fix that immediately!), but that didn't stop me from fully enjoying the event. The energy was pouring out from every pore with a solid three hours of genuine, uninterrupted music... incredible but true, he played one of my favorites, "Murder Incorporated"... I wasn't expecting that at all! Unfortunately (or fortunately?) he didn't perform "Born In The USA": he’s probably tired of playing it! Great, great, great... 5 stars (reviewer and reviewed).
Ac/Dc Stiff Upper Lip
Voto:
The latest from AC/DC doesn't convince me much (although the last one, "Black Ice," is not to be dismissed)... actually, aside from the decent "Razor's Edge," it's been since the first half of the '80s that they've been in a state of stagnation and self-referentiality. I'm not very tempted to listen to it, but it's a nice and thorough review...
Alice Cooper Alice Cooper Goes To Hell

I only know a few scattered tracks from this album, so at the moment I can't make complete and definitive judgments. The little I've listened to doesn't sound bad. - Good review...
