I've never disliked it. Of course, it's one of the most different from the Judases... undoubtedly the most influenced by the '80s. But I find it light and quite enjoyable.

I have the record but I hardly ever listen to it. Unfortunately, I just can't digest Bowie in this guise... undeniably there are good ideas, but they are nothing (or almost nothing) compared to what he will do later. I still give the album a passing grade because it's still David Bowie [and excuse me if that's not much :-) ]

It must be incredibly pleasant to listen to... so I'll get it as soon as possible. I join the regards of Sfascia Carrozze and Jim Morrisono.

Ahahah the anonymous comments. If they didn't exist, they would have to be invented. Between one saying it's crap music because the cover is tacky (yeah, it kind of is) and the other saying the review is noisy because it's long, all I can do is have a good laugh :-)

It's a pop where keyboards play a fundamental role. But these aren't the synths used by traditional '80s bands: they're the same keyboards used by groups from the previous decade (of course, though, with a decidedly more commercial purpose!)

I only vaguely remember the album as I listened to it at a friend's house a long time ago... but you've sparked my desire to rediscover it with this excellent review!
