pure shit
King Crimson Starless and Bible Black

But what about the final part of the title track, where there's that superb bass and guitar improvisation followed by the percussion and drums? Starless is the only song I know from this album, and I think it deserves attention.
Caravan In The Land Of Grey And Pink
Voto:
I wouldn't know... oh, it's all about taste. This is the only Caravan album I own, and I really like it, but personally, I wouldn't place it at the top tier of Progressive. Sinclair sings very well, but he can only dream of the peaks of expressiveness reached by Gabriel's voice, or the drama of Hammill's. Anyway, they’re different types of prog.
Caravan In The Land Of Grey And Pink

The best musician of the modern era is Peter Hammill! This is a great album, undoubtedly, but true progressive is something else. Besides, the 22 minutes of Nine Feet Underground don’t pass by so quickly... not like those of Supper's Ready.
Pink Floyd The Dark Side Of The Moon

Empty review. Legendary album but surpassable.
Goblin Profondo Rosso- The Complete Original Soundtrack Recording
Voto:
Being a group that composes soundtracks for films doesn't mean, as you say, being relegated to the edges of the music scene! The soundtrack of Profondo Rosso has entered legend along with this film and its brilliant creator: however, these 28 songs were created to accompany and give voice to the scenes. I will never buy a soundtrack album because I want to savor this music in the context of the film for which it was conceived.
Pink Floyd A Momentary lapse of reason
Voto:
In the review, you say the right things about Pink Floyd, but it's good that you don't dwell too much on the album. It's indeed an overhyped work, whose sound is no longer essential like in the pre-1975 albums (in my opinion the best of this band), but rather overflowing, unsustainable. And there's not much to say about a flop like this. Much better is the subsequent Division Bell.
Van Der Graaf Generator H To He Who I Am The Only One
Voto:
In my opinion, Genesis and King Crimson weren’t on LSD. At least not when they were composing their songs. And even Hammill's lyrics are certainly the result of a conscious mind; they have too many double meanings and wordplay to be written by someone on a "trip"! As for the music, though, that's a different story...
Van Der Graaf Generator H To He Who Am The Only One

For me, no... Pawn Hearts is the most absurdly beautiful thing that has ever come out of a musician's brain.
Magma Mekanïk Destruktïw Kommandöh

I prefer the debut album. This one is rather hard to digest...
