Nice review, this hybrid of electronic music and singer-songwriter tunes that LaCrus propose shows all its inconclusiveness here. I would only save Ricordare; the most beautiful cover of Estate was done by Vinicio on Liveinvolvo, this one is disgraceful, no comment for Via con me. While on one hand we should thank them for introducing us to a great like Piero Ciampi, on this record they lose quite a few points.

I pulled out this record just this morning. I’ve just come out of an intense listening session of the albums in Nuggets, a compilation that although it costs a lot is sort of a quick reference for those who love rock in all its facets. If I were to make a comparison, it really seems like these guys have internalized that compilation quite a bit. I love the guitars, well-played and with appropriate sounds, the mature voice, and the sound of the Hammond drives me crazy. I don’t know the other albums and I hope they live up to it.

I might have left it out a bit willingly because it's a song that needs no introduction, a must in Italian music, almost like DeGregori's "Generale," one of those pieces in which Vinicio has become trapped, in the sense that if he doesn't play it at one of his concerts, it's somewhat of a challenge to his fans. I've focused on those lesser-known songs that, in my opinion, are equally deserving of attention. Fresu's trumpet in "Amburgo" is not easily forgotten, and "il mio amico ingrato" is a song that we all encounter in our daily lives sooner or later.

You are right, it isn't appropriate to talk about greatest hits for Vinicio. Especially because for those who don't stop at appearances, they discover that Vinicio has so much to say; somehow we clash with his songs, we find ourselves within them and can't quite understand how. I have all his discography, including Liveinvolvo where the performance with the Kotchiani orchestra is nothing short of idyllic (there should be a DVD of the concert floating around). At this point, I’m really curious about the upcoming album, following that great work which was Canzoni a manovella that established him as an author with a capital A (sorry for the obviousness of the words).

Pink Floyd Live 8 Reunion 2 Luglio 2005

Great zuckina, those are the reviews you don't expect, like during those days when you have your own issues turning you into a mugolo on the street and suddenly a cute blonde smiles at you for free. Kudos! As for my thoughts, on Saturday I not only wasn't in front of the TV, but I didn't even record the event. I saw some images, I think on a news channel: well, I must say they were enough to send chills down my spine. Fuck those who believe that the reunion is purely an economic reason to perhaps relaunch the band in a mega world tour complete with DVDs and live CDs, stuff that record executives are popping bottles of champagne that have been kept cold for far too long. I agree with those who say that after Pompeii, I consider the Pink Floyd a bit washed up. For example, the sounds that Gilmour pulls out in a piece like Echoes, we won't hear again.

Suicide, can you explain this to me... don’t I seem clear enough in my presentations? And then Scaruffi??? You picked the right one to talk about the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

I agree with the somewhat cliché ending of the review, and I apologize for not including the rating, but it seemed obvious. However, since "state a guardà ar capello," here's what you asked for. I must reiterate that "Sticky" remains an excellent prelude to "Exile." Kosmo, I also believe that from Aftermath, passing through Beggars, up to Exile, the Stones have been flawless, but Goats Head Soup and It's Only Rock 'n' Roll are a bit lackluster, although there are some milestone tracks like "Angie." Some Girls and Tattoo You are not bad, and I would recommend the first four tracks from Voodoo. As for the rest, you can skip it, unless you end up like that friend of mine who only listens to the Stones—cases of excessive adulation...
