ZZ Top Rio Grande Mud
Voto:
Great album, a 4.5 that I gladly round up to 5 because it's my favorite by ZZ along with the following "Tres Hombres". Thanks to the internet, I was able to listen to the entire album with the original mix, which is truly a delight and does full justice to the atmosphere and the rich, essential blues sound. Excellent review!
ZZ Top Degüello
Voto:
Pleasant review, great album, which convinces me more than the previous "Tejas" and much more than the subsequent "El Loco" (and for me the commercial turn begins precisely with the latter, but good results will only be seen in "Eliminator").
Psicovomitosis Sadinecrootitis Sexlicioso

What cheerful and decent people! Perfect for the dances and parties in our nursing homes, to delight our dear grandfathers with timeless classics like "Desgarre Anal" and "La Infeccion Que Me Contagio Una Prostituta," in addition to the aforementioned masterpiece (now a classic always performed by the orchestra "I Cavalieri Del Liscio").
Funkadelic Maggot Brain

The solo in Maggot Brain is among the top five of all time...
Van Der Graaf Generator The least we can do is wave to each other

Great review, I agree with Giona regarding the punctuation and some repetitions. But the emotion that this album evokes is hard to describe! If it still needs to be said, it’s truly an exciting record that leaves a mark... The first piece of an extraordinary triptych, three masterpieces in the span of a year and ten months, something unthinkable nowadays. All the tracks are extraordinary, but Refugees always gives me goosebumps...
Funkadelic Standing On the Verge of Getting It On

I agree with Claypool. It will be so, but lately I can't give less than 5 to the Funkadelic records I'm listening to... Maybe soon I’ll do like this white man -> Ingrandisci questa immagine and go around playing and stomping funk! P-funk!

This is another big disc!
Parliament Funkentelechy vs. The Placebo Syndrome
Voto:
Great review that encapsulates the "p-funk universe" created by these great musicians led by the Reverend George Clinton. I believe this album is essential, and it knows how to entertain and be appreciated even by those, like me, who have just started listening to this genre (and I have been quite fascinated by it). The dizzying basslines of Bootsy Collins, the horns of Maceo... pure bliss!
Aphrodite's Child 666
Voto:
A splendid double LP that surprises and enchants, especially when compared to the beautiful melodic and nostalgic digressions of the first two albums by Aphrodite's. A masterpiece that retains its brilliance even after 40 years.
