So...I mean, no, what I meant to say is that...I really don't know where to begin. This album leaves me speechless, besides also breathless. The Mexican band Psicovomitosis Sadinecrootitis—with a vaguely self-commenting and particularly original name—have kindly decided to gift us, after the unmissable demo "Carnicero" from 2007, with another delirious, insane, perverse and furious work: "Sexlicioso."

First of all, let's make it clear that this is not work for everyone: besides having more than resilient ears (of course), you need a stomach of steel and a tolerance worthy of Job; it's not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, as it could produce rather unpleasant and undesirable side effects. To be honest, this is too much even for me. After two tracks, I staggered away to the toilet, ashamed like a thief. I mean, I can normally withstand that mix of booming grunts and razor-sharp guitars that constitutes a typical pornogore work, but learning that the "singer" is a woman...oh my, a woman...the only feeling that managed to overwhelm my disgust was pity.

If your boss at work has used a cattle prod to motivate you, or you've just argued with all your relatives, telling them to screw off one by one, don't hesitate to blast this album to calm those heated spirits: 12 nice dry tracks, half of which are covers of other bands from the brutal circuit (including Prostitute Disfigurement and Six Feet Under) and the others are original, purely "Psicovomitosis" branded...and it shows. At least one can note the absence of the usual relentless blast beats, in favor of an up-tempo punk style; the vocals are commendable, with the beautiful Ruth who burps (forgive the pun, but I couldn't help myself) indecent and totally incomprehensible lyrics (perhaps it's better that way). I would have liked to enjoy more of the fiery Spanish language, but I must say that this singing technique also makes its mark: a deadly cross between a lovesick pig and a clogged sink, so much so that every time my father went to call the plumber. In short, a little album to put on to liven up the evening in various ways, whether by exciting your better half (titles like "Genitales Amorfos Reinfectados De Un Paciente En Desarrollo Psicosexual Con Fijacion En La Entapa Anal, Oral E Falica" are there for this), or to have a good laugh with friends.

Undoubtedly the best full-length ever produced by Psicovomitosis (also because it's the only one), "Sexlicioso" goes beyond any rating (or, rather, below it), so don't miss out on this fun and intriguing work, available in the best (?) music stores (?!?!?!?). And if you really can't manage to like it, oh well: you can always gift it to impress the beautiful girl who lives across from you...
