Sorry Ascient, just so you know, on DeBaser you can also criticize albums, not just praise them. Impartial, in what sense?

Look, Masahiro, if you like Raf that's no problem, I used to like Ligabue too. Anyway, I just wrote the review as it came to me: in my opinion, Queen have always been hugely overrated, and this album, as I wrote in the review, sounds fake, false, and pretentiously engaged (see the various themes tackled by the band). Of course, I know that "A Night at the Opera" is a bit of a masterpiece, but just that, in my opinion.

A bit of self-defense, forgive me: Fidia says "apart from the fact that soon you'll receive so many curses that you have no idea," response, and who cares. Punisher, my remarks are not provocations, they are observations, allow me to say that I don't like Queen, that's all. Masahiro says I haven't understood a damn thing, fine, but from someone who gave Raf a 5, I wouldn't expect much. And then, dear friend, inside this site there's a certain PuntiniCazPuntini who systematically gives 1 to all of Springsteen's albums, he’s fine if he does that and I'm the one who hasn't understood a damn thing for giving 1 to Queen? And what about those who give 1 to "The Dark Side of the Moon"? What's your take on that? Do you really say I seem like a fool, maybe, how do you figure that out? Because I could easily tell you that you seem like an ass, but, give me some motivation. I don’t give 1 to every album; I’ve rated Dylan, The Beatles, Frank Zappa, Presley, Gene Vincent, Pink Floyd, Biohazard with 4 or 5... Sure, touching the sacred monsters is always a risk, but, I repeat, what do we do with someone who gives 1 to Springsteen or to Pink Floyd? Do we hang them from the highest pole?

See Fidia, when you review good stuff then we agree too. I prefer the first one (actually darker), but this one is nice as well.

Lewis Tollani, 5 for this stuff? Come on, let’s not kid around...

I don't know these three step-sisters, but given how they are described, I'm not even interested in finding out more. Nice review, short but sweet.
Neil Young Neil Young

Let's premise that if all debuts were like this, music would practically be all perfect, but it doesn't strike me as a four-star album; I would rather say it's a three: there’s a lot of folk and also quite a bit of pop, there are nice songs, but also ambitions that aren’t exactly excellent. The long and complex "The last trip to Tulsa" is musically effective but quite self-indulgent in its attempt to be 'classy'. Yes, indeed Neil Young has done much better: "Harvest," "On the Beach," "Rust Never Sleeps," just to name a few.

Yes, I actually agree, it's a masterpiece. But it's not the only one from Creedence; I also remember "Willy and the Poor Boys" seeming to be on the same level. However, these are albums I haven't listened to in a decade and a half, so I could very well be mistaken.
Ivan Graziani I Lupi
Voto:
Here it is, the great misunderstanding Ivan Graziani: underrated, too much, in life, overestimated, too much, after his passing. A sublime guitarist he has always been; many of his songs are truly captivating, but he never found that breakthrough, the flicker of genius. All in all, while he was impeccable as a musician, as an all-round artist, he fell a bit short. "I lupi," excluding "Lugano addio," is not even his best album; before that, there’s "Viaggi e intemperie," and especially "Pigro." And the flaw is, paradoxically, that of a genius who never quite emerged: for a handful of nice tracks, there are many useless and boring songs. As I said initially, too underrated in life, too overrated afterward. One could draw a comparison with Rino Gaetano: but Rino, frankly, was much better.
