mouse test test... I've heard too many good things about it... but it doesn't deserve too much praise... really a mishmash of ideas... and the screamer insists on being a singer... it's turned into a jumble of derived stuff... I don't know, for me it's the disappointment of the year so far.

"Then the mother, instead of taking her to a specialized clinic, calls the most useless and incompetent of human beings... the priest." 5 this sentence made me double over with laughter.

I mean, there's nothing to say about pop works of excellent craftsmanship, but to call it a super masterpiece is a stretch, in my personal opinion.

I'll share my opinion: if your whole speech was about a review of the latest Jesu... I would quote everything... but why did people go crazy for this album? It's pop, with indie reminiscences, but still pop, with cool lyrics? (the previous work was a concept about the life of Jesus... bah), but it's still pop...

I’ll finish (I got lost in the previous post) by saying that it would be limiting to confine them to a specific genre; in my opinion, they’ve gone beyond the script by adding something extra… otherwise I wouldn’t have given them 4 stars, right?

"Indeed, no one notices the drum sounds that are almost plagiarized from those of Isis" but who did Isis take from in turn? I believe that in this realm, originality is not present in drumming... not virtuous at all. On the topic of derivation, I agree with you, but I think the biggest influence, in my opinion, is the psychedelic one of the usual Pink Floyd. Their atmospheres reworked with distortions... I see very little of (post) hardcore in it, even though it’s normal that Minsk are known and mostly listened to by those who follow this trend that has been popular for more than a year now, but with the pioneers around for at least 6 years. Unfortunately, the Bokor, on the other hand, released their album in 2006, I say unfortunately because they would have been among my listens last year and in my playlist, and I can't include them in that of 2007 (just webzine nonsense, don't mind it).

"and what makes Meshuggah more progressive and experimental is their use of tonal dissonances." I don't agree..
