Names like Cohen, Tim Buckley, Drake, or others associated with this modest composer and musician really make me understand how the virtual musical spaces of the internet are damaging an entire generation of listeners...

Alevox: anyway, the Depeche were doing electronic music long before the U2, I think Gore was mainly referring to this, and The Edge for example has never hidden the desire to shift at the end of the 80s and completely change the sound of U2. Sure, for me too, the pseudo-dance twist of Zooropa and the multimedia philosophy of the Zoo TV tour have little to do with the dark atmospheres of DM, but considering the enormous escalation of success of DM from 88 to 90, I think the U2 felt somewhat behind the trends, and this has caught the attention of more than one in the scene. I believe Gore was referring to all of this when he said that phrase I quoted up there.

It's the U2 from Achtung Baby onwards who have copied from DM, not the other way around (M.Gore). Quotozz

rarely has a user of this site disgusted me as much as this reviewer... I wish they would die in excruciating pain, that's how much they disgust me... anyway, I’m already doing something hoping for their demise, rag doll, pins, and a nice spell that I hope will bear fruit.

"To be fair, the greatest work of the lamented Swedish artist has already been well reviewed by the user Il_Paolo" hhauhaauah you have no shame!, and since when would a proclaimed idiot (i.e., Paolo) ever manage to review one of the Arctic peaks of the twentieth century? Let's not joke around, you've already lost a lot of credibility, especially after this statement. It's not the same to say "Professor Galimberti, renowned psychoanalyst and philosopher, offers us an analysis of the great cinematic masterpiece The Seventh Seal." No, he says Il Paolo bhauabauahaui, a piece of advice: stop writing reviews on this site, do yourself a favor and then humanity as a whole.

my rating is 1, as soon as I read that according to the reviewer the best period of Bergman is from Wild Strawberries (an overrated film, Bergman did much better than that dull and politically correct movie) to The Seventh Seal (a masterpiece), I gave up reading. I mean, how can one be so narrow-minded and so flawed in examining a career of over 40 years?
Persona, The Virgin Spring, Faces, the Silence Trilogy which includes masterpieces of introspection like Winter Light, The Silence, Through a Glass Darkly, another immense masterpiece like "Hour of the Wolf", one of the most intense films in the history of cinema "Cries and Whispers" (for me his true peak, not to mention the highly praised Wild Strawberries just because it's the most well-known), well that's enough otherwise I really risk ridiculing this tiny reviewer who has only seen the essentials of Bergman (that is, what he considers essential for himself) ROTFL.

It’s evident that you can’t defend yourself if you want to censor through moderators; it’s nothing new, I wasn’t wrong about you. You’re ignorant and dishonest, so Pinocchio and ignoramus. For you, these are insults; for me, they’re opinions. Here, comments are free, and if I find it appropriate to tell you something, I’ll do so without any false pretenses. Percy, no one doubts the film's value; I only replied to the absurd claim of the reviewer who says this is the best film in history. Just watching Ivan the Terrible would be enough to undermine that stupid statement.

But how can you say it's the best movie ever made if you haven't even seen the true masterpiece by Eisenstein, which is Ivan the Terrible/The Conspiracy of the Boyars??!! Stupid Pinocchio, ignorant fool, go study and don't waste time copying and pasting from movie sites, because nobody here believes you're an expert!!
