On "Follow You Follow Me," it's a little song recorded by the three of them by chance, basically two notes by Tony and Mike developed later by Phil who added a very simple yet tremendously effective lyric. It wasn't supposed to be released, in fact it’s at the end of the album and has nothing to do with the rest, but I’m glad it ended up being successful; they deserved it for everything they had done beforehand.

I gave the talk about the outtakes of "Abacab" quoting "You Might Recall," "Me And Virgil," and "Submarine," if I remember correctly. Anyway, with these additions, "Abacab" is a significantly better album; some have rightly pointed out that it contains some really beautiful tracks. The title track, "Me And Sarah Jane," and "Dodo/Lurker" are truly successful songs and performed very well live.

This is not a review; I haven't written a review of this work because there is already one on Debaser and it's very well done. This is an experiment, intending to give an idea of the album by quoting (as if they were excerpts from a text) only parts of the lyrics and connecting them. In practice, it seemed pointless to me to review "A Trick Of The Tail" in a conventional way and repeat the usual and well-known things; I let the album speak for itself.
