The scene that moved me the most (and is perhaps the most famous in the film) is when Norma, freshly minted, is called on a pretext by her bosses and climbs onto a table in the factory with the sign she has written "Union." In solidarity, her coworkers begin to turn off the looms one by one, and she, touched, starts to cry; there is no music to underline this moment, just a liberating silence that comes to an end when the last loom has ceased its infernal noise.

It's not better than the previous one; it's tangled and complex, that's for sure. It needs to be watched a myriad of times to start understanding anything, but the photography is stunning and the close-ups of Rampling truly take your breath away.
